Home Improvement Contractor Registration

All home improvement contractors should have registered with the Attorney General's office by JULY 1ST, 2009.
PBA'S Member Registration Resource Center helps educate MEMBERS about the requirements of the new home improvement contractor registration law. For more information refer to their website at www.pabuilders.org
Sample contracts, provided by the PBA, are available to HBA Members Only. Call or e-mail Katie at the HBA office to find out how you can obtain your copy of the short form (projects $501-$999) and standard form contracts (projects $1,000 +). Home Improvement projects under $500 do not need a contract.
To register and/or receive more information on the Home Improvement Contractor Registration . . . please visit the Attorney General's Website at: http://www.attorneygeneral.gov/hic.aspx if you register online you will receive your registration number immediately. There is also a section on frequently asked questions that should help to answer any questions you may have.
